Permission Letter
Dear Sir/Madam
I would like to ask for your permission to use Jessie Reyez’s ‘Gatekeeper’from 2017 to use in my A-level media coursework. For this we are required to make a music video to a song, under the category of ‘protest’, which will be contributed towards my final grade at the end of Year 13. I would like to clarify that the use of the song would be entirely private, in no case would my coursework be released publicly. I chose ‘Gatekeeper’ to fit the brief as I feel that the message of women’s exploitation in the music industry is not exposed enough, and therefore I would like to promote the topic with my coursework.
Once again, I would like to ask your permission to use this song in my A-level coursework. I hope to hear from you soon,
