Her reflection is dressed in revealing, luxurious clothes with excessive makeup and styled hair. She is obviously crying with mascara tear stains running down her face. The background of the photo is dark, contrasting with Courtney and the mirror who are in exposed lighting. The image above is inspiration for this original photo.    The second original photo is of the shot which references Pulp Fiction in the music video but uses the artist instead of the woman form the video. Draft Treatment    The video would appeal to a target audience of young women, 16-29 years old, who either desire career or who are socially aware of female oppression in the entertainment industry. A lot of young women aspire to have said career due to its connotations of luxury and success but are unaware of the dangers that are concealed in order to protect their image. Patriarchy and male dominance is a relevant subject for most young people due to high emphasis on social media, with many women coming forward and sharing their experiences. This video therefore brings awareness to and supports this emerging movement, exposing the true behaviour that prominent entertainment industries attempt to conceal in order to protect their image.    The use of one initial location, the woman’s bedroom, throughout the narrative provides an anchor for the present day shots as well as creating significance for audience, as many see their bedroom as a sanctuary and a place where ...
