Brief: Social Conscious, 16-25, middle-upmarket demographic.
Mainstream Girls:
The video would attract to those who may have aspirations of pursuing a career in the performance industry, or similar ones where good looks & talent lead to success, who therefore need to be informed on the dangers that can occur i.e exploitation, manipulation & sexual harassment.
Description:
Clothes: The audience would therefore dress very ‘mainstream’, e.g designer/high street brands & makeup, or a high end ‘Towie’ themed style - similar to what they believe they need to dress like for that career option. Taking the latter style, they would wear skimpy, tight outfits e.g bodycon dresses & heels with an excessive amount of makeup.
Diet: Would probably eat normal mainstream food i.e fast food, or eat out. Some however might eat healthy foods, such as salad, in order to maintain the ‘perfect desired’ body shape.
Lifestyle: not very promiscuous as they are unaware of the dangers of exploitation, perhaps engage a little in the partying/drinking lifestyle.
Music Tase: the charts or whatever they categorise as their own interest which they want to pursue a career in that genre of music e.g r&b or grime.
How will I attract this audience: In my music video I would include a girl who closely resembles that of the perfect audience and that show, with the good memories, the positive side to the industry which they recognise e.g partying,drinking,drugs & sex.
